NORTH PEACE STAMPEDE

- August 6, 7 & 8, 2010 at Lac Cardinal

- Professional rodeo, chuckwagon races, midway, beer garden, food booths, camping

PIONEER DAYS

- August 14, 2010 at the Lac Cardinal Village Pioneer Museum located near the entrance to Lac Cardinal

- Pancake breakfast, buggy rides, threshing machine, blacksmithing, shingle and planer mill demonstrations, farmers market

ALBERTA POND HOCKEY CHAMPIONSHIPS - this event takes place annually in February on Lac Cardinal. In 2010 it was held February 11-14th. Teams from across the Province compete for the chance to represent Alberta in the World Pond Hockey Championships. For more information, you may visit http://www.albertapondhockey.com In conjunction with the tournament, Lac Cardinal Pioneer Museum hosted a pancake breakfast on Saturday, Feb.13, 2010. Sleigh rides connected the museum to the tournament.
