The 2026 Shelterbelt Program -
Open & Accepting Tree Orders
The 2026 Shelterbelt Program aims to promote tree planting to reduce erosion, conserve energy, and provide habitat for birds. The Agricultural Service Board will bulk order trees on a cost-recovery basis.
Orders must be in bundles of 10 or 15, and payment is due upon submission of order. Trees should arrive at the MD office by late May or early June 2026.
