The MD of Peace No. 135 is accepting applications for one (1) seasonal GENERAL LABORER position for a tentative duration of May 5th, 2025, to October 31st, 2025. This position is under the direction of the Director of Operations and Public Works Foreman and will be responsible for assisting the Public Works department in the maintenance of municipal infrastructure and assets, as well as assisting the Recreations and Agricultural Services departments as directed. Details:
- 44 hours/week Monday – Friday. Possibility of overtime as required
- $24-$29/hour based on experience

Requirements:
- Good communication skills and ability to take direction
- Works well in a team environment and alone
- Punctual and good time management skills
- Motivated to work and learn new skills
- Capable of extended periods of outdoor activity in various weather conditions
- Capable of moderate lifting (25kgs) and physical labor
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license (Class 3 preferred)
Experience in municipal and/or road construction is an asset but is not required.
