Fire Advisory
Effective November 5, 2025, the Municipal District of Peace No. 135 has a FIRE ADVISORY ORDER in place.
NOT Allowed:
- Fireworks; and
- Exploding targets
Allowed With Extreme Caution!
A fire advisory is in effect for MD of Peace 135.
Under this advisory:
- New fire permits will be issued on a case-by-case basis, for essential agricultural and industrial burning only.
- Safe campfires are allowed.
- Burn barrels with spark arrestors in place
- Backyard fire pits
- BBQs, turkey fryers & tiki torches
- Portable propane fire pits, gas or propane stoves and BBQs that are CSA or UL certified and are designated for cooking or heating, Catalytic or infrared style heaters.
- Wood fires in an enclosed facility or device, which has a chimney with a spark arrestor.
THIS FIRE ADVISORY WILL REMAIN IN PLACE UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
