As per the Animal Control Bylaw 12/2023, please respect your neighbours and do not let your dogs or cats run free in Brownvale.
• All dogs within Brownvale must be licensed annually if over 3 months old.
• Dog tags must be worn when off the owner's premises.
• Licenses expire on Dec 31st and are non-transferable.
• Max of 3 dogs per household unless specific exceptions apply.
• Owners must clean up after their dogs and prevent excessive barking.
• Dogs are not allowed in areas where No Dogs signs are posted.
• Owners are responsible for ensuring their pets are not at large and running free.
Regarding Cats:
Do not let your cats roam free. Cats roaming at large often disregard fences and can defecate in sandboxes and flower beds of neighboring properties, which can be highly unsanitary and bothersome.
