About VSI Services (1980) Ltd
VSI Stands for Veterinary Services Incorporated, a not-for-profit program with the primary intent of encouraging the development of veterinary practices in mostly northern Alberta. It provides support for veterinary services to four basic large animal species: cattle, swine, sheep and goats. Levels of coverage have changed over time for the various participating municipalities. Some municipalities also adopted additional species into the mix, often on a limited services covered basis.
