Temporary Road Bans
Effective May 7th, all temporary road bans in the MD have been lifted.
Please take care to drive safely during the changing conditions.
Normally, the MD does not impose restrictions on its local gravel roads. However, if conditions necessitate a temporary ban, it will be posted on this site.
Permanent Road Bans
The Municipal District of Peace No. 135 currently has four roads that have permanent road bans:
- RR233 South of McInnis Well House to TWP Road 834 is banned to vehicles one ton and over.
- RR242 – Lac Cardinal South Access is banned to vehicles one ton and over (north of Highway 2 for 4 miles)
- TWP834 – Lac Cardinal East Access is banned to 90% (west of Highway 2 for 3 miles)
- RR231 – Mighty Peace Golf Course Road is banned to vehicles one ton and over (south of Highway 2 for 2 miles)
