Please note that the Municipal District (MD) of Peace is responsible for managing and controlling pests within its boundaries. To fulfill this duty, our weed inspectors may need to access properties in the MD to assess the presence of such pests. These inspectors are specifically authorized under the Agricultural Pests Act to enter private property for this purpose. They will be driving vehicles issued by the MD and will carry official MD ID tags.
We kindly ask for your cooperation and show respect towards these employees! They are doing their jobs and will endeavor to carry out their responsibilities as efficiently as possible to minimize inconvenience to landowners. Your tolerance is appreciated.
