In place of a newsletter, the MD of Peace No. 135 offers a free subscription to the Mile Zero News for all MD residents. Each week the MD has a three quarter page section in the Mile Zero News in which we keep residents informed of activities/programs, etc. in the MD. If you live in the municipality and are not receiving a copy of the Mile Zero News, please contact our office at 780-338-3845.

Building a Social License for Nuclear Energy Development in Northwestern Alberta
The Peace Regional Energy Alliance (PREA) has publicly released its Position Paper, Building a Social License for Nuclear Energy Development in Northwestern Alberta.
The Position Paper outlines PREA's support for the continued exploration of nuclear energy
opportunities in the Peace Region while emphasizing that community engagement, education, and informed discussion are essential as conversations continue. It is intended to support the
development of provincial policy and does not endorse any single nuclear energy proponent.
